IHG to add nearly 1,000 rooms in South Korea
IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has signed an agreement with Gwangwondo Development Corporation (GDC) to manage two Resorts and Suites under the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts and Holiday Inn Suites brands. This adds another close to 1,000 rooms to IHG’s pipeline in Korea and doubles the number of IHG hotels in this market.

IHG to open first Holiday Inn Hotel in Vietnam
IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has signed an agreement with MBLand (Military Bank Land) to manage the Group's first Holiday Inn Hotel in Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi. Scheduled to open in 2012, the new hotel, with more than 300 rooms, will be known as Holiday Inn Hanoi Dong Da and will be part of a mixed-development complex with an upmarket retail and commercial centre.
