Intercontinental signs third Kiev hotel
InterContinental Hotels Group has announced that it has signed an agreement to develop its first Crowne Plaza hotel in the Ukraine capital. The 225 Crowne Plaza Kiev, planned to open the year Ukraine jointly hosts Euro 2012, will be the third IHG hotel in Kiev. IHG has already signed agreements to develop the InterContinental Kiev, due to open end 2008, and Holiday Inn Kiev, due to open end 2009.

Rixos to launch new premium hotel in Thailand
With eight successful hotels already under its management, Rixos Hotels will add another member to its family with the opening of the luxurious resort – Rixos Premium Khao Lak, in Khao Lak, Thailand. The announcement comes following an agreement that was signed between Mr. Gökhan Sarper, Rixos Hotels Business Development Director, and the President of Cher Fah Co. Ltd. Hyatt Regency Chongqing set for 2012 opening
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and R&F Properties Co have announced the signing of an agreement for Hyatt to manage a luxurious new 354-room hotel in Chongqing, the most populous city in China. The site of the 27-story Hyatt Regency Chongqing is in the Jingbei District, the city’s new Central Business District. The hotel is part of the prestigious Ocean Plaza, a multi-complex development that combines shopping, offices, and various dining and entertainment experiences.
