Job Description
Our client is one of the UK’s leading organisations within the not-for-profit sector. This volunteer supported foundation operates over 300 stores UK and is widely acknowledged as an innovative retailer within the charity retail sector. To help realise their ambitious financial objectives they now seek a talented and experienced retailer for the key territory above. You will be responsible for the trading performance of a group of 12-16 shops and the achievement of consistently high standards of visual presentation, operational efficiency and profitability. Your influence will extend to all areas of the business from staff recruitment, training and development through to managing stock generation and controlling income and expenditure. In addition to proven retail experience, you will need the maturity, charisma and diplomacy necessary to generate enthusiasm as well as compliance within a largely volunteer workforce. As the organisations brand ambassador within the local community, you’ll engage with people from all walks of life and you must be capable of identifying and capitalising upon local trading opportunities.
