Savings for singles on a fully-rigged five-mast sailing ship

1st March 2012 Print

Sailing holidays at reduced prices for solo travellers on board the Royal Clipper – the world’s largest fully-rigged five-mast sailing ship – is the offer from singles specialist, Friendship Travel.

On a choice of dates in April and May, guests can enjoy sole occupancy of a twin outside cabin, as opposed to single inside cabin accommodation, for no additional charge.

This upgrade, worth up to £375 per person, applies to five and seven-night cruises on a choice of itineraries including Malaga to Rome or Sicily and the Amalfi Coast.

As an example of prices, a five-night Malaga to Rome cruise, starting on 23 April, now costs from £1125 per person inclusive of return Gatwick flights, full-board accommodation in a twin outside cabin and selected watersports and activities.

The Royal Clipper accommodates just 228 guests and combines the grandeur and tradition of cruising under sail with all the creature comforts of the finest modern ship.

Although the interior is as opulent as any other ‘traditional’ five-star cruise ship, the atmosphere is laid back and friendly and formal dress is not required.
