Wheelwright Calibre Couture range for 2012
Kent-based distributor Wheelwright has sent a clear message as to its direction for 2012 with its all-new Calibre ‘Couture’ range. This stunning collection of diverse designs will sit above the firm’s popular Calibre portfolio, offering OEM quality wheels that push the boundaries of design and elegance.
The Couture range is clearly aimed at the upper end of the vehicle parc, with several distinguished designs and fitments that wouldn’t look out of place in most automotive manufacturer’s options lists.
The new Altus is the perfect example of the new collection’s design language. A classic ‘Y’ spoke design with a concave face, this new rim is available in five stud patterns, three very different finishes and no less than five different sizes, ranging from 8x19” to 10x22”
The Volante’s aggressive, angular appearance and concave face also make it appeal to a huge cross-section of owners. An innovative undercut polished detail adds the flair, and fitments for most core cars are available in staggered 19” and 20” sizes.
The Potentia pitches the firm’s stall squarely at the premium SUV market, aiming for cars like Range Rover’s new Evoque and BMW’s X5. Available in a ‘market-friendly’ 22” diameter and in most popular fitments, it is beautifully detailed and effortlessly chic. The satin finished spokes contrast beautifully with the highly polished deep dish.
