Robert Plant at the Sunflower River Festival in Mississippi

For three days of non-stop music – where Robert Plant, best-known as vocalist and lyricist of the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin will be centre stage – head to the Sunflower River Blues and Gospel Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi as it celebrates its 25th anniversary between 10-12 August.

Further celebs at this three-day musical extravaganza - which features more than 40 bands -  include Grammy winning vocalist Patty Griffin, globally renowned guitarist and composer Justin Adams, West African virtuoso musician Juldeh Camara and multiple-Grammy nominee Charlie Musselwhite.

US specialist, Bon Voyage, is a highlighting an exclusive five-day package to the event, which not only includes motorcoach transfers and entry to the festival on 10 and 11 August, but a wealth of musical ‘must sees’ in Memphis.

These include admission to Graceland, the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum and the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, along with a Memphis Mojo tour on a restored 1950s bus where, under the guidance of an original hippy, guests add to the music with tambourines, bongos and shakers!
