Decadent champagne feast in the New Forest

Stanwell House Hotel – a boutique hotel, located in the coastal town of Lymington on the southern tip of the New Forest – is staging a decadent Laurent-Perrier black-tie dinner on Thursday 12 April.
The six course feast will be prepared by resident chef Chris Lovell, using a wide variety of ingredients, and each course will be accompanied by a different glass of Laurent-Perrier wine, and a tutored tasting.
The evening will commence with Canapés accompanied by Laurent-Perrier Bellini, and the delicious menu will include:
Seared King Scallops, Creamed Salt Cod, Baby Rocket, Lemon Purée (accompanied by Laurent-Perrier Brut NV)
Chicken and Foie Gras Terrine, Plantains, Almond Milk and Crunch (accompanied by Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut)
Pan Fried Seabass, Textures of Potato, Crab Mousse, Tomato Fondue, Basil Oil (Chablis, Domaine de Vauroux)
Slow Cooked Chicken Breast, Chicken Wings, Garbure, Shallot and Garlic Purée, Cep Cream (accompanied by Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2002)
Passion Fruit Cream, Mango Sorbet, Ginger Crunch
Strawberry Mousse, Warm White Chocolate Sponge, Macerated Berries, Popping Candy (accompanied by Laurent-Perrier Rose Brut NV
The price of the meal is £65.00 per person not including service which is discretionary.
Overnight accommodation for those attending the evening can be booked at the special price of £89 per couple, on a bed and breakfast basis. Four-poster rooms and suites are also available.
