Nelson Hotels' executive head chef Leigh Myers is set to cook up a storm at this year's Wrexham Food Festival on 12 and 13 May at Llwyn Isaf, Wrexham.

As part of the two-day Welsh culinary extravaganza, Leigh, who is well-known for his Chef’s Academy and the hugely popular Ready, Steady, Learn to Cook evenings held at Nelson Hotel’s Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, will join the AGA Rangemaster Theatre Kitchen, where as part of the live cookery demonstrations he will cook up a series of veritable delectable delights to wow and tantalise the taste buds of festival goers, using the finest local produce to create his skillful masterpieces.

Leigh, who is well versed in pleasing a crowd of hungry spectators, believes his contribution to this year’s Wrexham Food Festival is sure to deliver a show stopping performance.

Leigh comments: “Nelson Hotels is delighted to support Wrexham Food Festival. I’m planning all sorts of culinary delights using the finest local produce, so be sure to pop along to the AGA Rangemaster Kitchen Theatre and sample the fayre. We have a wide variety of superior quality produce in this region and it’s a real honour to be able to get involved in this way. It’s an event not to be missed.”

Entry to the festival will be £3.00 per head (£2.00 concessions) and will include entry to the live cookery demonstrations.
