Sledging fun at The Snow Centre

Struggling to find a different and exciting activity that all the family will enjoy? The Snow Centre at Hemel Hempstead is encouraging more families to chill out together with a choice of value for money family packages.

And, if you’ve opted to holiday at home and enjoy different experiences without travelling too far, it’s a great way to introduce an Alpine feel to your ‘Daycation’. With fresh snow falling regularly on perfectly groomed slopes The Snow Centre is definitely the coolest place to be this summer.

The closest real snow to London the 160m slope is serviced by two efficient drag lifts, combined with a wide nursery slope for beginners. There’s good quality clothing and equipment for hire and a licensed restaurant overlooking the slopes where you can relax after a session on the snow.

The Snow Centre’s new Family Lesson & Sledge Package offers two adults and up to four children a full hour of instruction in either skiing or snowboarding combined with half an hour to have fun together sledging on the nursery slopes. At £99 for all six of you it’s an excellent way to learn something new – or improve your technique. The deal even includes a free soft drink for everyone in The Edge CaféBar after your lesson!

If your family is already competent on the snow a visit to The Snow Centre is a great way to keep up their enthusiasm over the summer. You can book a Family Slope Pass Package for up to two hours on the slopes for two adults and up to four kids for just £69 ...followed by a free soft drink. Treat the family to a hot snack or a meal at the 150 seat The Edge CaféBar and make it a real day out.

As an added bonus, if one of the adults is already a member of The Snow Centre you’ll save even more on these prices.
