Celebrate the Diamond Jubilee on Britain's best beach - Bournemouth!

Bournemouth is set to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in brilliant beach front style with not one, but 2-days of fantastic FREE entertainment!

With an impressive line-up of live music, tribute bands, dance acts, competitions and the screening of The Jubilee Concert', live from Buckingham Palace, Britain's Best Beach Destination* is the perfect place to enjoy the extended Jubilee weekend.

The party starts on Sunday 3rd June from 2pm - 10pm with highlights including The Rock Choir, Tea Dance, Zumba-thon and finishes with a live concert from three outstanding tribute acts, 'Beached Boys', Tom Canning as Tom Jones and, suitable for the occasion, 'Qween'. Celebrations continue on Monday 4th  from 2pm - 1030pm with entertainment including the live screening of the Queen's Jubilee River Pageant, Fashion Show, dance and finally from 6.45pm, the fantastic star-studded Jubilee Concert.

This stellar line-up of FREE entertainment is taking place to the east of Bournemouth Pier and that's not all that's going on! Other jubilee highlights taking place in the resort include entertainment at Bournemouth Pavilion ('There Will Always Be An England' and Symphonic Beatles with 'Live Beaphonic') celebrations on Bournemouth Pier at the Pier Theatre, 'Photographs from the Royal Collection' at Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, a 'Royal Aquatic Tour' at the Oceanarium and 'Diamond Jubilee Proms' in the Park musical evening with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. 

You're certainly going to be in need of refreshments after all this so head to Harry Ramsden's and check out 'Harry's Jubilee Weekend' or sample the patriotic red, white and blue cocktail at Hot Rocks Restaurant.
