The Jewellery Show London is diamond set

The inaugural edition of The Jewellery Show London will take place on June 12 - 13 at the historic location of Somerset House on The Strand, where it will engage the cream of the jewellery trade during London Jewellery Week 2012.

This intimate trade-only event will provide a sumptuous launch platform for 90 carefully selected collections from the very best of British and international jewellery designers and brands, with many of them launching key brands into the UK market exclusively at The Jewellery Show London. Taking place towards early summer, The Jewellery Show London promises to be an inspirational new buying event for the trade, perfectly timed for retailers keen to source autumn/winter 2012 and spring 2013 collections.

Some of the hottest brands and cutting edge designers that visitors can look forward to seeing at the show include: Alexander Davis, Alfred Terry, Amaze by Isabell Kristensen, Aradia Nista, Babette Wasserman, Baccarat, Charming, Cindy Dennis Mangan, Clogau Gold, Cornerstone, Flash Jordan, Gellner Gmbh & Co Kg, Jorg Gray, Kastur Jewels, Kennet, Leyla Abdollahi, Lovelinks by Aagaard, Michael Weggenmann, Missoma, Pepper Pink by Mark Milton, Rachel Galley, SHO Fine Jewellery, The Raphael Collection, Ti Sento, Torgoen Swiss and William Cheshire.

One of the most renowned and successful jewellery brands in the world, Pandora, is headline sponsor of this launch event. The company will hold a gala dinner for its retail partners on Monday June 11, and its annual retailer conference in the Portico Rooms at Somerset House on both Monday June 11 and Tuesday June 12.Pandora is supporting a stunning central catwalk for the show, set to feature trend defining jewellery pieces from exhibitors and providing a focal point for visitors with four runway shows held daily throughout the event.

Of special interest to those with an eye for Fairtrade, ethically sourced and manufactured jewellery will be the presence of Cornerstone, a partnership between renowned City jeweller Paul Spurgeon and Soweto-based Nqobile Nkosi that will bring the vibrancy of South Africa to the streets of London. The Jewellery Show London is the only UK exhibition where you can source from the unique Cornerstone collection. Cornerstone is the Social Development Partner of The Jewellery Show London, which is proud to fully support this wonderful international project and initiative.

Visitors are also encouraged to support Cornerstone's fundraising activities, which will include a sponsored bike ride this summer.
