Nasar shows blind faith in new taxi!

Taxi driver Nasar Khan was so confident in the quality of the new TX4 London taxi that he bought one without even seeing it!

Not only did he not have sight of or test drive the vehicle, but the Manchester cabbie had not even seen the specification of new TX4 cab, launched by manufacturer LTI Vehicles last October, when he placed his order,

Having now taken delivery of his Bronze specification black cab, he is delighted with the performance and handling of the taxi – and his passengers love the peace and quiet.

“This is my third TX model since 2000 and is definitely the best,” said Nasar, aged 38, a cab driver since 1999.

“It is wonderful. The engine responds very smoothly, it is much lighter and the road handling is good.

“I was going to get a new cab anyway and actually ordered my TX4 before I had even seen the details or tried one!

“Mann & Overton Manchester insisted I have a go afterwards though. I only drove it for a mile or so, but could really tell the difference from the TXII.

“My TXII has done nearly 400,000 miles and was still going strong but I always buy a new one before it goes out of warranty.

“In three weeks, I have done 4,000 miles. I work at Manchester Airport so there are a lot of miles to and from the city centre.

“Passengers have been remarking on how quiet the vehicle is and how smooth the ride is.

“The TX4 is the best taxi I have driven.”

Nasar bought a TX4, with automatic gearbox, from Mann & Overton Manchester.
