Carte D’Or launches new flavours - Amaretto & Strawberry

Premium ice cream brand, Carte D’Or, has taken inspiration from some of life’s most delicious ingredients to create two new sumptuous flavours: Amaretto, Chocolate and Vanilla; and Strawberry.

Amaretto, Chocolate and Vanilla is a delicious blend of vanilla ice cream with amaretti pieces and almond flavour ice cream, swirled with Chocolate sauce and topped with amaretti biscuit pieces
Strawberry is a strawberry ice cream with real strawberry pieces: a smooth and irresistible strawberry ice cream, swirled with real strawberry fruit pieces. Perfect on a summer day, or with fresh fruit salad.

Grilled Peaches With Amaretto And Vanilla
This easy recipe can be served as a light dessert, or even on the BBQ. Perfect served with a generous scoop of Carte D’Or Amaretto and Vanilla Ice Cream.
Servings: 4
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
8 scoops of Carte D’Or Amaretto and Vanilla Ice Cream (200g/400ml)
4 ripe peaches
1 tsp icing sugar
A drizzle of oil
2 tbsp flaked almonds, toasted
Method
PRE-HEAT a griddle pan until hot.
HALVE each peach, removing the stone. Sprinkle the cut sides of the peaches with the icing sugar.
DRIZZLE a little oil in the griddle pan and place each peach, cut side down. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
SERVE with a scoop of Carte D’Or Amaretto and Vanilla Ice Cream inside each peach half.
DECORATE with the toasted flaked almonds and serve immediately.
Banana And Cinnamon Ice Cream Waffles
This is an indulgent breakfast treat and perfect for special occasions.

Prep time: 10 mins
Ingredients
8 scoops of Carte D’Or Caramel Cinnamon Waffle Ice Cream (224g/400ml)
8 sweet waffles
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp caster sugar
2 bananas, peeled and sliced
25g chopped pecan nuts
PLACE the waffles onto a baking tray. Sprinkle evenly first with the cinnamon, then with the caster sugar. Grill on high for 4 minutes or until the sugar is starting to caramelise.
ARRANGE the sliced banana between the waffles and warm under the grill for 2 minutes.
SERVE two waffles each, topped with a scoop of Carte D’Or Caramel Cinnamon Waffle Ice Cream.
DECORATE with chopped pecan nuts and serve immediately.
