St Anton am Arlberg

Specialist ski company VIP SKI is delighted to be featuring a gorgeous new hotel in one of the world’s best ski resorts, St Anton for the 2012/13 season. It’s the very first time VIP SKI has featured this classic resort and their first entrée into the Austrian Alps. The super-stylish Hotel Montjola, the second hotel to join the portfolio, will be treated this summer to a total overhaul by a team of interior designers to give the hotel that special VIP twist. VIP intend to retain a little bit of classic Tyrolean charm and to dress the contemporary comfort of flat screen TVs, sound docks and signature hot tubs to compliment the historic hotel which was built in 1932. The super-stylish Hotel Montjola has 33 spacious bedrooms and offers an enviable location with magnificent clear views of St Anton, the mountains and the pistes from many of the terraces and balconies around the property.

It’s just a five minute walk to the main Galzig lift, close enough to the buzz of village life yet perfectly secluded from the action of the party capital of the Alps. The town that rocks the valley saw the birth of modern day alpine skiing and is home to immaculate pistes, spectacular scenery, a picturesque village, reliable snow, legendary après-ski and first-class cuisine. It is easy to see why St Anton is regarded as one of the best ski resorts in the world.

Adventurous intermediates and expert skiers will love the long, exhilarating runs from Valluga as well as the world-class off-piste. Skiers can also enjoy some of the highest altitude skiing in the Alps with a vast network of cable cars and lifts that include skiing in the exclusive resorts of Lech, Zürs, St. Christoph and Stuben. The village itself sits at 1305m but Valluga, at 2810m, is effortlessly reached via one of the largest cable cars in Austria, guaranteeing snow throughout the season. Non skiers are also in for a treat with a superb network of walking paths and many other snow related activities.

After an invigorating day in this Alpine mecca, where better to retire to at the end of a busy day than to VIP SKI’s beautiful new Hotel Montjola? The stunning hotel sleeps a maximum of 80 guests with a mix of double, twin, triple and Austrian twin bedrooms and enjoys design-led interiors combined with perfect Austrian form, function and charm. All the classic hallmark touches of a VIP SKI experience will be offered including welcome drinks and mouth-watering canapés, seven days cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal with wine included, a bar serving drinks & coffee, a sauna, steam room and massage suite and a new wraparound outdoor hot tub. A complimentary ski hosting service is available to assist skiers on finding the best way to get around the vast array of slopes as well as an eight 'til eight Chauffeur service to bring guests back up the hill at the end of the day. Two nannies are also on hand to help make a family holiday more enjoyable and can help with the children’s needs.
