Forge Peugeot 207 Catch Tank

Proving that innovation never rests, the engineers at Forge Motorsport have unveiled another quality upgrade for the Peugeot 207 1.6 Turbo. Forge’s latest creation - an oil catch tank - fulfills the company’s usual criteria of exceptional performance with unparalleled good looks.

The kit is designed to be a quick and relatively simple fit and includes all mountings, custom silicone hoses and associated fittings. Finished in highly polished aluminium, it will enhance the under-bonnet area of any tuned or cherished Pug.

But it’s not really all about looks; the Forge Oil Catch Tank addresses an issue prevalent in many high performance vehicles. Excess crankcase pressure is vented from the crankcase through the PCV system, where it is drawn into the intake manifold and returned by the engine. This recirculated air contains aerated oil from the crankcase which is then burned by the engine. Turbo charged engines often draw significant amounts of oil into the engine through the PCV system, which may ultimately affect performance and component life. This oil catch tank system removes aerated oil so that it can be drained and recycled.

The kits are available with either Red, Blue or Black silicone hoses, allowing you to match or contrast the kit with your engine bay or coachwork. Priced at a very reasonable £299.25 excluding VAT, this is an essential upgrade for any hard-driven 207.
