Available in 18 stylish Mercure hotels across Britain, the Wine & Dine package includes a five course dinner of delicious dishes from a taster menu that’s unique to each hotel, featuring seasonal British produce. As part of the Wine and Dine experience, the meal is accompanied by two glasses of wine from Mercure’s acclaimed wine collection, which includes a tantalising range of English wines, specially selected to complement the day’s dishes.
The Mercure wine offering is one of the hallmarks of the hotel collection, featuring an extensive menu of high quality wines, sold by the glass as well as the bottle. This unique concept is designed not only to introduce grapes and varieties people may not be familiar with, but also to give guests the chance to sample high-end wines at an affordable price.
The wine collection is categorised into four different flavour areas: "Fresh & Tasty", "Fruity & Light", "Balanced & Elegant" and "Spicy & Full-Bodied" and guests will be guided through the unique matching process by the hotel’s in-house wine experts, the Mercure Echansons.
