While all eyes may have been on Hampton Court and Tatton Park flower shows recently – one lucky local flora fan is about to enjoy a designer garden of her own.

Visitors to the recent East of England Show were given the chance to win a stunning designer garden, worth £2,600 - courtesy of the East of England Agricultural Society.

Garden-lovers were treated to a series of horticultural highlights offered by five show-stopping imaginative, low maintenance gardens - designed by Ground To Garden and Bettaland Products through an innovative computer-aided design scheme.

Show-goers were asked to vote for their favourite, and lucky Monica Agness from Helpston near Peterborough was selected from hundreds of entries to win the gorgeous winning garden.

Monica will have the garden and everything needed to recreate it delivered direct to her door – from herbaceous perennials, peat-free compost and hard landscaping.

The show gardens on display included the regal Jubilee Garden – created by John Farley of Agg Bagg/Ground to Garden and Shaun Dring of Bettaland Products.

The eye-catching garden had its preview at the East of England Show before being moved to the Sandringham Estate. His Royal Highness, Prince Charles –was able to view the garden during his visit to the Show.
