The latest hand-finished part to make it from the paddock to the catalogue is this simply gargantuan intercooler for the Mitsubishi Evo 6.

Aimed at competitors and constructors that refuse to compromise on performance, the Forge Competition ‘Cooler is not simply a ‘bolt on’ addition as so many of its parts are. Fitment of this upgrade is best left to the professionals as it requires the removal of the entire air-conditioning system, as well as cutting of the front panel and bumper. To allow each application to be created on a bespoke basis, no hard or soft piping comes with the kit, but Forge’s vast range of aluminium couplers and bends, along with race-proven silicone hoses, means that a comprehensive solution is only a click or phone call away. With additional work, this component will also fit onto Evo 4 and 5 variants as well.

Although the results will vary from car to car, Forge’s motorsport clients have reported significant reductions in charge temperatures with the fitment of this component, which helps to recover lost horsepower wasted through excess heat.
