New show home highlights three-storey living at Aspull development

Housebuilder Morris has launched a new show home on its popular Aspull development to demonstrate the quality of its properties to local househunters.
The show home at the Mill Gate development is a ‘Rivington’ style, three bedroom, three storey townhouse which has been expertly furnished and decorated by interior design specialists Marren to highlight the benefits of three storey living.
Sian Woodfine, design director of Marren, said: “We chose a vibrant colour scheme to create a modern and fresh look and to accentuate the quality design and fittings in the homes.
“The stylish new show home illustrates how three storey living is ideal for families looking for a contemporary but functional home.”
With the site proving popular with young professionals and families, there are various different schemes available to give buyers a helping hand.
FirstBuy is a government-backed scheme that enables first-time buyers to benefit from an 80 per cent mortgage, smaller monthly repayments, and a five per cent deposit.
NewBuy is a similar government-led scheme that enables both first time buyers and existing homeowners to apply for a 95% mortgage on selected new-build homes across the country.
Regional sales director for Morris Homes, Chris Minshall, said: “New statistics show that raising a deposit remains the foremost concern for 33 per cent of first time buyers, so we have devised these schemes to ensure that young housebuyers in the Aspull area aren’t left behind.”
The Mill Gate development enables people to take advantage of the local green belt, which runs adjacent to the development, and the good transport links to Manchester and nearby Wigan.
Morris currently has a range of three and four bedroom homes, with prices starting from £214,750. For more information, visit morrishomes.co.uk.
