Kwik-Fit helps Britain’s motorists start 2007 on firm financial footing

23rd January 2007 Print
While Britain counts the cost of the festive season many will be dismayed to hear that experts predict British motorists will spend around £1.1 billion1 per month in 2007 on car parts and labour. That’s some £412 per month, per car owned in the UK. So motorists might well be pleased to hear that Kwik-Fit is offering up to 30% off everything until 3 February.

Fortunately, with some £110 million1 to be spent each month just on car tyres alone this year, Kwik-Fit’s January sale includes its best ever premium tyre offer, enabling motorists to benefit from a 30% discount off four and a 20% discount off two Pirelli, Michelin, Continental or Bridgestone tyres.

The savings don’t stop there. Kwik-Fit is also offering 20% off any combined MOT and service, booked on-line before end of day 3rd February3. And with many other big discounts available in centres on brakes, shocks, exhausts and catalytic converters motorists can make some valuable savings in January on the monthly £94 million that experts predict they’ll spend on service parts in 2007.

David White, customer services director at Kwik-Fit commented: “No-one wants to be hit with a big bill for their car this early in the year, but at the same time motorists can’t put off something as important as changing their worn tyres or brakes just for financial reasons - or they’ll risk placing themselves and other road users at risk. This is Kwik-Fit’s biggest sale ever with up to 30% off everything from tyres, brakes and exhausts through to MOT and servicing. What’s more we can also offer customers the option of 120 days interest free credit4. We hope that it will help make January a little easier for the UK’s motorists.”
