Motorpoint further enhances car buying experience

New Motorpoint customer service area Motorpoint, the multi-brand car supermarket with one of the biggest choice of cars and vans in the UK, has unveiled a new customer service area at the retailer’s site in Derby, following a £500,000 investment to further improve the already high level of service provided to customers. This follows the recent announcement of the opening of a fifth outlet in Peterborough following the acquisition of Mega Cars in December, 2006.

The newly built facility was carefully designed with the aim of creating a modern and comfortable environment which allows a unique, informative, and hassle free buying experience. This has predominantly been achieved through the incorporation of an open plan reception, and refreshment and seating area where customers can relax whilst waiting to collect their vehicles or discuss their purchasing requirements. There are also individual IT workstations in a dedicated sales area where Motorpoint sales staff have access to the very latest stock, which is updated hourly.

Commenting on the unveiling of the customer service area, David Shelton, Managing Director of Motorpoint explains: “The introduction of the new facilities demonstrates our drive to continually enhance the quality of service and vehicle range which we offer to our customers.”

The new facility at Motorpoint in Derby is open 7 days a week between the hours of 08:45 and 20:00 (Monday to Friday), 08:45 – 18:00 (Saturday), and 10:30 – 16:30 (Sunday). No prior appointment is required.
