Micra C+C peep show

25th October 2005 Print
Nissan Micra C+C The Nissan Micra C+C, in partnership with Breakthrough Breast Cancer, will be revealing itself during a nation-wide tour of city centres starting in London’s Covent Garden between 27 and 30 October.

Supported by local radio stations, the Micra C+C Tour, which features a fleet of specially painted pink cars, will be driving around city centres supporting and raising awareness of Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s Touch Look Check (TLC) campaign. At the same time, one Micra C+C will be having its own ‘peep show’ in a breathless box. Opaque panels will slowly become translucent to give passers by a sneaky peek at parts of the C+C until the whole car is revealed. Then the C+C’s unique folding glass roof will open and close before the box becomes completely opaque again.

Shoppers will also have a chance to win the Micra C+C from the box, donated by Nissan, in a "Text to Win" competition. For each text message received, 90 pence will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. During the week leading up to the city centre peep show, local radio stations will be reminding listeners about the Micra C+C tour and also holding competitions with questions relating to the C+C and breast cancer.

The Micra C+C will be touring the country until 5 February 2006 (with a break through the Christmas period) visiting cities including Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle.
