Nissan brought in to refurbish fleet

Trills refurbish major office, industrial and retail sites across the UK and offer a total solution to projects, from concept design through to completion. Having already taken delivery of eight vehicles, the deal could eventually see a further 20 entering the Trills fleet as the company continues to experience year on year growth. The vehicles will be supplied on a full maintenance Contract Hire agreement by London based Gates Contract Hire Ltd, who have been involved in the leasing industry for over 40 years and operate vehicles throughout the United Kingdom.
With Trills previously running a hotchpotch of vehicles of all types and ages, the decision to replace the whole fleet with Nissan vehicles followed the appointment of Nigel Smith as Managing Director. With Nigel’s background in the refurbishment and maintenance sector, he was well aware of the service and reliability afforded by a Nissan fleet.
More than just a replacement for the outgoing fleet of vehicles, the striking design of the Nissan range has also inspired the redesign of the Trills livery, with logo and company image designed around the sculptured flanks of the Kubistar and Primastar.
For Tim Sly, Finance Director for Trills Services, the choice was obvious: "We knew our fleet would need updating some time soon, so when Nigel suggested we have a look at the Nissan range we discovered that we could solve all our transport needs in one go. With turnover set to double over the next five years it’s going to be a busy time here at Trills, we’ve got no doubt that the fleet of Nissans will be more than up to the challenge."
Paul Westwood, Nissan’s area fleet manager said: "Nissan is very proud to be associated with Trills Services. Their vision for growth and development perfectly reflects our own standards and we look forward to a long and productive working relationship."
Paul Tyler, Sales Manager of Gates Contract Hire said: "This is another example of our partnership with Nissan successfully fulfilling a customer’s fleet requirements, and we look forward to supporting Trills Services in the years to come."
