The Note big picture

Nissan’s newest family car will be on display in dealerships across the UK from 10 February and to mark its launch, Nissan is looking for the most creative child under 12 who can draw themselves and their family on a NOTE "Big Adventure". The picture must feature the NOTE, which offers a host of ingenious features to make family journeys easier and more comfortable, including a sliding rear seat to either increase rear leg room or luggage space and a nine-litre glove box which can hold up to 12 drinks cans – a must for those long thirsty journeys.
All pictures will be displayed inside the dealerships until the end of the competition on 30 April. Each dealer will then pick a winner who will receive an art kit packed full of artists’ materials and their picture will be entered into one of four regional heats at the end of May. The winner of each regional heat will then have their picture paraded around their local area on a large ad-van (advertising van) for a week.
The national winner will then be chosen and will walk away with an iMAC G5 computer with wireless keyboard and mouse, a digital camera and printer – everything they will need to set up a virtual studio at home.
Nissan’s Marketing Director, Justin Elias said, "The NOTE has been designed with young families in mind, so we want to encourage parents to bring their children into the dealerships with them to try out the car from a child’s perspective. While the children can try out the fold away tray tables in the rear, mum and dad can discover the other clever features and smart storage solutions including the split level luggage floor, the clever glove box which can be used to chill drinks and the secret storage under the passenger seat."
The NOTE is available with a choice of two petrol engines – 1.4- and 1.6-litre and a 1.5-litre common-rail diesel. Prices start from just £9995 for the 1.4-litre S.
