2013 ferries to Ireland now bookable with Irish Ferries

25th October 2012 Print

Irish Ferries has opened up its reservations system a month earlier than usual, accepting bookings for travel from 1 February and for the rest of 2013.

“We were previously accepting bookings for travel up to 31 January 2013, but we are very encouraged to see travellers requesting spring and summer crossings already,” says head of passenger sales Dermot Merrigan.

2013 fares start at £79 for a car and driver.  That is for a one-way crossing from Holyhead to Dublin or from Pembroke to Rosslare.

“Despite rising fuel prices, we have been able to peg our lead-in fare at the same level as 2012,” says Merrigan.

Irish Ferries operates three vessels between the UK and Ireland: the cruise ferry Ulysses and the fast-craft catamaran Dublin Swift on the Holyhead to Dublin route, plus the Isle of Inishmore cruise ferry on the Pembroke to Rosslare route.
