Nissan Scores for Spurs

Contract hire proved to be the perfect way of funding and managing the cars and commercial vehicles for Spurs. The two-year/24,000 miles contract hire deal, includes breakdown cover and maintenance which will be managed by Nissan dealer Glyn Hopkin.
The new fleet line up at Tottenham includes:
the new and eye-catching NOTE that offers everything for the active family life; a stylish yet bold design and a highly versatile interior;
the driver focused Primera that proves its individuality with unique looks and innovative technology;
the ground breaking Murano that is inspired by both sports coupes and 4x4s and whether on or off road provides an impressively powerful and comfortable ride;
the most compact van in its sector, the Kubistar is just over 4 metres long yet boasts the longest cargo bay in its class; and
the exceptionally versatile Interstar which is available in a choice of three lengths, roof heights and payloads, plus a wide range of efficient power units.
Dave Murfitt, fleet sales director at Nissan, said: “This was the perfect one-two. We worked closely with the dealership and Nissan Finance to develop a comprehensive package that would ensure we were Tottenham's best close season signing. Nissan is reinventing itself by rationalising vehicle model ranges and developing innovative crossover vehicles that span different sectors and meet the wider needs of drivers. Our range provides quality, reliability and all round excellent performance – just about the ideal characteristics for a football team.”
Paul Barber, executive director at Tottenham Hotspur, comments: “When we were looking for a new fleet supplier it was important that we found someone who could not only meet our operational requirements but also the personal lifestyle preferences of our drivers. The fact that Nissan could offer us a real choice of high quality, versatile vehicles, at the right price, was the clincher for us.”
Fraser Cohen, managing director at Glyn Hopkin, adds: “We have established a good relationship with the commercial team at Spurs, not only through the supply of vehicles but also through our corporate box at the ground, where our customers and staff have been thoroughly entertained by the club for many years now.”
Nissan Business Finance Contract Hire, the joint initiative set up by Nissan Motor and Nissan Finance in 2005, tailored the package to provide the vehicles at the most competitive prices with the minimum of hassle for Tottenham.
