The spirit of North London's finest French bistro to your door

Primrose Hill’s favourite bistro, L’Absinthe, known for offering the true taste of France since it opened nearly five years ago, has now launched its very own outside catering business bringing The Spirit of L’Absinthe to events and parties around London.

Catering for private events, be they intimate dinners in the host’s home, launches or large cocktail parties The Spirit of L’Absinthe can provide. The events team can manage all aspects of the event – including event design as well as the food, service and tableware. A recent client asked for his venue to be dressed as a traditional French bistro, with the food and staff appropriately themed – but the team are equally at home with creating drinks and canapés for a sophisticated summer party or bowl food and matching wines for a product launch event.

The fully flexible service is designed to accommodate exactly what the event organiser needs, be it staff to cook and serve multi-course meals on location, or simply delivering breakfasts and lunches to office functions and meetings or photo shoots - with menus tailored to individual tastes and budgets.

The Spirit of L’Absinthe events is run from the deli offshoot of L’Absinthe bistro, located just next door and open daily from early in the morning, serving a diverse menu of French and Continental dishes. All are available to eat in or take away, and are very much inspired by the popular Gallic classics served in the bistro. From croissants and coffee at breakfast to filled baguettes and sandwiches or quiches and hot main courses at lunch, and home-made cakes and tarts – everything is freshly cooked on site and available for take-away or delivery.

The Spirit of L’Absinthe deli is open daily, 8am-7pm Monday – Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
