Excitement mounts as new homes are revealed at King’s Down

9th November 2012 Print

Homes at King’s Down in Bridgwater are proving so popular that Barratt has released a new phase at the development and unveiled a new showhome.

The housebuilder has launched a superb selection of home designs with the new Palmerston showhome helping demonstrate the style and quality available.

The Palmerston is a three-bedroom home and has a family lounge which leads through to a fully fitted kitchen/diner with French doors to the rear garden. On the first floor are the three bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Barratt says that the development offers something for everyone and demand is expected to be high from those living locally and buyers from further afield. Buyers can also take advantage of a limited allocation of FirstBuy to help people onto the housing ladder.

The scheme is designed to help buyers get onto the property ladder with loans of up to 20 per cent of the price of the property, jointly funded by Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency.

Buyers then have to find the remaining 80 per cent of the price themselves made up of the mortgage and deposit.

“The stylish assortment of homes at King’s Down works wonderfully with FirstBuy,” said Barratt sales director Caroline Hill. “And this excellent scheme is the perfect answer for those wanting to make one of these beautifully-designed homes their own.”

“King’s Down and FirstBuy are a wonderful combination and offer an excellent opportunity to those looking to move into one of our homes,” added Caroline.

“We are expecting these homes to be tremendously popular here and the team cannot wait to meet potential homebuyers and show them everything this special development has to offer.”

King’s Down is near to the village of Bawdrip to the south-side of the Polden Hills and to the north-east of Bridgwater.
