All-inclusive boating holidays from the base at Horning in the Norfolk Broads are being introduced for 2013 courtesy of specialist boating holiday agency, Waterways Holidays.

“We are delighted to be offering our first range of all inclusive holidays on the Norfolk Broads, which means there are no compulsory additional charges.  Collision damage waiver, a tank of fuel, gas for cooking, car parking for one car and cancellation protection are all included in the price,” says Waterways Holidays’ managing director Nigel Richards.

The company features a wide selection of well equipped motor cruisers at the Horning base, ranging from budget to high end luxury and sleeping between two and 11, which are ideal for larger parties or two families sharing.

The two-berth, 25ft Opal Emblem, for example, is perfect for two beginners as the aft steering position allows easy steering and mooring up and it also has a large open cockpit for good views all round.

Alternatively, Diamond Emblem is a deluxe, spacious 42ft cruiser sleeping 10 which boasts dual steering and a bow thruster for ease of mooring and handling as well as a large sun deck and a unique wrap-around forward galley and saloon.

Prices for 2013 start from £337 for short break hire - three nights at a weekend or four nights midweek – whilst a week’s hire costs from £471.

The base is ideally located for exploring the Broads with highlights including the Broadland windpumps, Breydon Water nature reserve and the cathedral city of Norwich together with nature trails and a variety of wildlife. offers live availability on more than 1500 narrowboats, cruisers and sailing yachts operated by the UK’s leading boat operators and with more than 55 different start locations.  The website also offers lots of advice on boating holidays as well as featuring listings of the latest special offers.
