Nissan sponsors Chatsworth Horse Trials

The sponsorship deal includes the use of a selection of Nissan’s impressive 4x4s, including the award winning Pathfinder, as official vehicles to transport vets, doctors, stewards and judges around the cross-country course which is set against the magnificent backdrop of Chatsworth House.
In addition, Nissan will also be displaying a full range of its 4x4 vehicles from the compact multi-award winning X-TRAIL, to the rugged Patrol. And to show the full capability of the range, a Navara fitted with a fifth-wheel will demonstrate how a horse trailer can be towed.
Caroline Earley, Nissan’s Brand Promotions Manager said: “We are delighted to be the title sponsor of the Chatsworth Nissan International Horse Trials. It is a wonderful opportunity to expand into a new market and we hope to build a long standing relationship with the show.”
The Duke of Devonshire, on whose estate the annual horse trials take place, welcomed Nissan’s arrival: “Every year we work hard at enhancing the horse trials, so the arrival of a new major sponsor into the sport is tremendously good news. Nissan’s support will help us create an even better weekend for both spectators and competitors and we are greatly looking forward to their input.”
Chatsworth offers exciting cross-country action over the May weekend, the climax being the World Cup qualifier on Sunday 13 May which will attract many of the world’s best riders. In addition, a hugely varied programme of family entertainment includes Pony Club mounted games, sheepdog and birds of prey displays, Chariots of Fire – Amanda Savile’s amazing fire-jumping ponies – children’s attractions and over 80 high-quality tradestands.
