Interest at Harbourside means all hands on deck

Overwhelming interest in the final phase of Crest Nicholson’s Harbourside development has meant the sales office is now open an extra two days per week to cope with demand.

Since launching in October the Invicta marketing team has reported high volumes of enquiries resulting in a number of reservations for the properties on Bristol’s historic floating harbour.

Sales and marketing director Susan Young says the combination of quality properties, with the added incentive that this is the last chance to buy at the stunning location, is what has made the development so popular.

She said: “We expected Invicta to be popular but the reaction so far has been extremely positive. It has meant that our sales office which was previously open five days a week is now open to prospective buyers everyday.

“Invicta is unique in that it offers 170 high-spec one, two and three-bedroom properties right on the waterfront with fabulous views across the countryside. Sales at Harbourside have been buoyant from the beginning so I think this last opportunity to buy is very attractive for house hunters.”

Located on Cathedral Walk just off Anchor Road, Invicta is spread over five floors with a variety of different styles and property sizes.

Once complete it will include an important pedestrian link called Millennium Promenade. Running from the Millennium Square to the Harbour Inlet it will complete the famous Brunel Mile and incorporate a rich ecological landscape with views across to the ss Great Britain.

The name for the new phase draws inspiration from Bristol’s link to the city of Porto in Portugal which was also known as Cidade Invicta, or The Unvanquished City.

Twinned in 1984 links between the two cities go back more than 500 years through the port trade with Invicta being located next to Porto Quay.

A few minutes walk from Park Street and Queen Square, those wanting to get to Temple Meads or can hop on the water ferry which has a designated stop outside the development.

The centre is only a few minutes walk away and there are numerous restaurants and bars close by.
