SMMT day goes orange

18th May 2007 Print
Juggling between testing either the Nissan QASHQAI 2.0dCi or the latest 350Z with 313ps on tap at SMMT day can be a bit of a tough decision to make, so Nissan has decided to assist a little this year. Therefore, whilst throwing the decision around a bit, try your hand at the art of juggling. A skilled entertainer will be on hand to teach you how to toss a few oranges… plus a few other things as well. Always a useful skill to impress your friends with.

May 22 nd at Millbrook will be the first time that any 2.0dCi QASHQAI has been made available for a test drive in the UK and we have three to play with, all coloured in an orangey red known as Fired Iron. Alongside the QASHQAIs will be three 350Zs with the 80% revised VQ3.5 engine – look out for the subtle bonnet bulge reminiscent of the classic 240Z. Not so subtle though is the colour – Temper Orange.

Waiting to meet you on the stand will be Jane Shaw Cunningham, our very own fortune teller / psychic who returns, due to popular demand. She believes that just cutting an orange in half will reveal all your inner secrets – honestly, one cut and all is revealed – please feel free to pop along and put her to the test.

Also available will be Lindsay Cracknell who will be scooping chocolate from the orange flavoured chocolate fountain that will be flowing all day – just what you need before tackling the hill circuit. Gloria will be counting all the calories that you consume and someone else will be sharing chocolate oranges with you, even though he thinks they are his!

Hope to see you all there.
