Forge Motorsport Volvo Turbo Actuator

The latest actuator fitment from Forge Motorsport should keep Volvo fans happy. Designed to fit a wide number of engines installations in the 850, S60, S70, V70 and C70 ranges, the British-made precision part will drastically outperform the original and is suitable for tuned cars running higher levels of boost and performance.

Having carefully analysed the OEM parts for these car, Forge has created two versions of this actuator in order to fit all variants. FMACT5S – with a straight connecting rod, and FMACT5B where the rod has an offset or bend.

The Straight Rod version is compatible with all models fitted with the Bosch Motronic 4.3 / 4.4 ECU fitted as standard, as seen in models with an accelerator cable. The original actuator rod is straight and suitable for the Mitsubishi TD04HL straight flanged turbo. This includes cars like the 850 in all T5 and ‘R’ versions, the S70, V70 and C70.

The Bent Rod version is for cars fitted with either the Bosch Motronic 7 and Motronic 7S ECU fitted as standard, as seen in models without an accelerator cable (drive by wire / ETM). The original actuator rod is stepped and suitable for the Mitsubishi TD04HL angled flanged turbo type. Fitments include the S70, C70, V70 and S60.

Forge has also released an actuator suitable for the later K24 Turbo models sold between 2007 and 2007, with either a 6 speed manual or auto box.
