Reflecting the trend to mix different interior styles, Kahrs 20mm Grande Collection provides an elegant flooring option with a contemporary twist. Launched as part of Kahrs Supreme Range, the Collection includes four stunning oak wood floors: pale toned Grande Manor; silver toned Grande Maison; multi-toned Grande Espace and warm, golden toned Grande Casa.

The Collection’s very distinct look is achieved by combining colour and texture with scale. Bespoke surface treatments including handscraping and brushing are used to reinforce the wood’s texture, alongside a tactile – and very durable - oil prefinish. A distinct bevelled edge and the sheer scale of each board reinforces the look, with each floor measuring 2800mm x 260mm x 20mm.

The four designs are crafted from sustainable oak, using modern eco-friendly methods: a multi-layered construction uses hardwood down to the joint only, with fast-growing timber below.

For a historic look, with a modern feel - two patterned floors are also offered as part of Kahrs Supreme Elegance Collection – nut toned Oak Tapis Marron and pale Oak Tapis Blanc. Each has a tapis, or basketweave design across the entire surface, combining long and cross strips reminiscent of traditional parquet blocks. A brushed and bevelled finish adds future texture, along with an oil prefinish. Both Kahrs’ Supreme Grande and Elegance Collections are offered with a 30-year guarantee and alongside an extensive range of matching accessories and maintenance products.
