Bloor Homes highlights; it’s Silsoe Grange development in Bedfordshire ticks all the boxes when it comes to homebuyers’ preferences, according to a recent study. A survey of 2000 adults, commissioned by Planitherm Glass , has identified a range of points that influence people when househunting including: a quiet street; good parking facilities; well-maintained surrounding houses and friendly neighbours.

Silsoe Grange offers a serene environment with ample parking available. The development of two, three, four and five bedroom new homes is finished to the high specification for which Bloor Homes is renowned.

The survey also revealed that a proud six in ten Brits worry about what the outside of their home looks like – and most were worried that others might judge them. In fact, the majority of people surveyed regarded the outside of a house as more important than its interior – with seven in ten reasoning that this is because the inside can be improved much more easily.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director at Bloor Homes, comments: “Silsoe Grange is perfect for people looking for a beautifully designed home in a quiet location. The development is within easy reach of the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside and magnificent Wrest Park with its 90 acres of parkland.”

Properties available at Silsoe Grange include the two bedroom ‘Marford’ housetype which is perfect for first time buyers. At a starting price of £194,950, it is beautifully laid out, offering a large lounge with French doors leading to the garden, a kitchen/diner and cloakroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, with the main bedroom featuring an en suite shower room.

Silsoe village has a range of amenities, including the Star and Garter public house, The George Hotel, as well as newsagents, hairdressers and other local retailers.

A little bit further afield there are leisure activities to suit all ages, whether it is a stroll round the market town of Bedford or a fun day out for all the family at Xscape MK with its indoor ski slope and skydiving.

The development is conveniently situated for travel to surrounding areas, being located between Bedford and Luton on the A6 and Ampthill and Shefford on the A507. For commuters, Flitwick railway station is just five miles away, providing regular services to London in 50 minutes.
