New Stonewater shared ownership homes in Wyboston to help local people onto property ladder

Local people struggling to get a foot on the property ladder in the Wyboston area could be eligible for one of three shared ownership homes which have just been released by affordable housing provider Stonewater Homes.

The smart new two- and three- bedroom homes at The Lane are being offered for sale at a starting price of £88,000 for a 40% share. Priority is being given to people with a strong connection to the local area.

“Shared ownership is a part-buy part-rent scheme which aims to help prospective buyers into home ownership by allowing them to purchase a percentage of their new property while paying a reduced rent on the remaining amount,” explains Victor Inegbese, Stonewater Homes Sales Executive for the scheme.

The two-storey Stonewater homes have been sensitively designed to fit in with the village’s local architecture and built to keep householders’ energy costs as low as possible.
