A new chapter in pure collagen skincare made in Britain

Face Matters

Face Matters is a brand new British concept in anti-ageing skincare, combining a high concentration of pure mineral collagen with botanical oils to create a unique skincare collection, a combination not tried before.

The range of products has been created using natural silicon, which helps to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the skin to reduce wrinkles, promote softer skin and combat the ageing process.

Products include an Anti-Ageing Elixir, where the high density collagen ingredient is actually visible to the human eye, a Cleansing Balm and a Pure Collagen Spritz.  The range already boasts a strong celebrity following as UK actress Sarah Parish is an avid fan.

'I have fallen in love with this product (the Anti-Ageing Elixir) as it's so easy to apply and gets results instantly, my skin feels flawlessly soft already' says Sarah who lives near the product creator, beauty therapist Sally Curson, in Hampshire.

Sally has spent the last four years creating the product range from her treatment room in Alresford, Hampshire, and has managed to finance the whole operation from conception to launch despite being a single mother to two children and working full time as a beauty therapist to make ends meet.

After her own experience of the devastation caused by domestic violence and the trauma of finding herself on the streets with two young children, penniless and homeless, Sally has joined forces with the national domestic violence charity, Refuge.  She, more than anyone, understands how vital Refuge’s support is to women and children experiencing domestic violence.  A percentage of profits from the sale of all Face Matters products will be donated directly to the charity, to help fund its life-saving and life-changing services.

Sally says, "I was told that mixing natural botanical oils and collagen would not work and yet it has, with astonishing results.  I am really proud of the range of products I have created, they contain no bulking agents and are of the purest quality.  Supporting Refuge through our partnership also gives me great pleasure as I would like to try and help women like me get back on their feet at a time they really need it.  I am proof that anything is possible".

Sandra Horley, CBE, chief executive of Refuge states “Sally's story is very inspirational – she has overcome adversity and rebuilt her life after domestic violence.  Every single day Refuge supports over 2,000 brave and courageous women and children to do the same.  We are delighted that Face Matters Skincare is supporting our vital work.  By working together we will be able to reach out to more women and children in need of our services, whilst raising much needed funds during this difficult financial climate.”

Peter Hunter, the former UK distributor of award-winning brand Burt’s Bees and an influential force in the UK beauty industry, has also endorsed Sally’s product range.  He is now a shareholder in the business and is supporting Sally and taking the products to key retailers with a plan to be in-store in Spring 2013.

The range is currently available to buy online at facematters-skincare.com.
