First time buyers are being urged to make 2013 the year they stop renting and buy a home of their own in Nuneaton with the help of NewBuy.

The valuable incentive means that would-be home owners could find they only need a 5% deposit to secure a brand new home at Eliot’s View at Tuttle Hill.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented: “As people start thinking about the New Year and planning ahead we’re encouraging them to give some thought to their living arrangements, particularly first time buyers. Our message is simple, would-be home owners should resolve to make 2013 the year they buy a home of their own instead of paying someone else’s mortgage.

“NewBuy is a great way of making dreams of home ownership a reality as it enables people to purchase a brand new home with a 95% mortgage and 5% deposit. In fact savings of around £5,000 could be enough to secure a two-bedroom apartment at Eliot’s View so first time buyers may be able to step onto the property ladder much sooner than they may anticipated.”

Eliot’s View offers a good choice of properties, ranging from two-bedroom apartments to detached four-bedroom family homes. Current prices start from £98,995 for a two-bedroom Argal style apartment.

“Our new homes are ideal for first time buyers as they include many of the essential white goods people are likely to need to purchase when setting up home. Kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances such as oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer; while bathrooms enjoy sleek modern suites and quality fixtures and fittings,” Pauline added.

“Another big plus is that you won’t be inheriting someone else’s decor but will be able to customise the property to your own tastes by choosing everything from the finish of the kitchen cabinets to the bathroom tiles.”

The homes at Eliot’s View are close to Nuneaton town centre and within commuting distance of Hinckley and Atherstone thanks to easy access to the A444 and A5.

Some of the homes have Coventry Canal to the rear and others overlook a wildlife conservation area. Redrow have also created a lake from the former quarry, which is now an attractive feature.

To make 2013 the year you stop renting and buy a home of your own with NewBuy, visit Eliot’s View, where the show homes, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
