Taking its biggest ever presence at the event, Litchfield’s impressive 2013 Autosport line-up includes some of the most exciting cars at this year’s show. Not only will the Gloucestershire-based tuner be playing to its traditional strengths in enhancing Japanese cars, but it will also be highlighting its line of proven upgrades for performance BMW models.

As the car of the moment, and as a tip of the hat to its enviable experience tuning the Subaru marque, Litchfield will be unveiling its latest supercharged BRZ (GT86) to the ASI crowds. As the first UK tuner to develop its own supercharger solution and have it track and dyno proven, the 280 bhp BRZ answers all of the critics who praised the car’s sublime chassis but bemoaned its lack of power. Offering WRX STI power levels with a significant increase in torque throughout the rev range, the Litchfield package also boasts options of Alcon brake upgrades, a raft of chassis enhancements designed in-house and manufactured by suspension legends Eibach and a superb-sounding Milltek exhaust system. Finished with a stunning set of 18” TSW ‘Nurburgring’ wheels shod in Michelin SuperSport tyres, this car is bound to attract plenty of attention throughout the four days of the show. All of the items are available as separate stand-alone options, or Litchfield can offer the completed car as a ‘turnkey’ package.

As possibly the most powerful road-legal car present at the show, Litchfield’s 1,000 bhp Nissan GT-R LM1000 out-guns every other machine at the NEC. As with all Litchfield cars, this one has been shaken down and exhaustively tested at the Nurburgring and offers supercar-slaying performance with all of the ‘daily driver’ niceties and power delivery that makes the GT-R such a great all-rounder. This car is fitted with Litchfield’s own engine, jointly developed with leading UK engineering firm, Capricorn and featuring a sublime F1-quality hand-fabricated Inconel turbo kit. Suspension enhancements have once again been developed in-house with Eibach and BILSTEIN to create a bespoke solution that fully integrates with the Nissan’s sophisticated damper electronics. Alcon ceramic brakes are naturally required to retard the LM1000’s physics-defying speeds and custom 20” wheels with Michelin SuperSport tyres provide the much needed brake clearance and grip!

Despite its history with Japanese performance models, Litchfield is keen to show its high levels of expertise and preparation knowledge with other European marques. Also on display will be its latest BMW M3 demonstrator with a range of subtle and effective enhancements that Litchfield can offer for this superb range of sports cars. As well as offering a choice of subtle and ‘useable’ engine remap options, the car also features a custom intake system and Milltek silencer, complete with titanium ‘X’ pipe. An Eibach chassis solution is augmented with lightweight 19” wheels and the superbly grippy Michelin SuperSport tyres.

Litchfield will also be offering two lucky stand visitors the chance to win VIP tickets to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in association with Michelin, so be sure to fill in your details when you visit the stand.

Commenting on his line-up for ASI eponymous founder Iain Litchfield said, ‘We’re very proud of the line-up we have created for this year’s show. Although we’re clearly well known for our work with high-performance Japanese machinery, we’re really here to let people know about our entire performance programme, as well as our care programmes for all manner of exotic and rare cars. We maintain and improve many of our client’s fleets which include niceties such as Bugatti, Ferrari and Porsche and every aspect of our business has been designed from the outset to cater for these clients. Please come and see them on Stand 8540 at the NEC.
