Downsizing is now even easier for home owners in Worcester thanks to Aspen Retirement.

The introduction of part exchange at Eastbank Court is great news for those who want to move somewhere smaller and more manageable but don’t want the hassle of selling their current home.

Aspen will effectively buy the customer’s home enabling them to buy an apartment at Eastbank Court without the uncertainty of a chain.

The benefits of part exchange will be explained during an event at Eastbank Court on Friday, February 1st.

Liz Herring, sales and marketing director for Aspen, says: “The anxiety of selling a house and all that involves can lead people to stay put rather than have to deal with the stress that’s often associated with moving. It can be particularly daunting for those who left things like this to their husband and now that they’re on their own they don’t know what to do.

“We want to help people move to a home that’s more befitting of their current and future needs and so have introduced part exchange. We will buy the home that’s perhaps now too big for the client, enabling them to purchase an apartment at Eastbank Court.”

Part exchange customers will receive the balance between the value of their old home and the cost of their new one when the larger property is re-sold.

It’s not just the offer of part exchange that’s designed to make life easier for downsizers – the facilities and support services available mean that home owners should find their lifestyle is enhanced by moving to Eastbank Court.

They will be able to retain their independence, but with the reassurance of the support of friendly staff. Regular domestic help is included in a service charge that also covers things like building insurance, plus items people would ordinarily have to pay for themselves such as window cleaning and gardening.

A manager is on site 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so if someone needs help they won’t have to go through a remote call centre. Extra help can be arranged for home owners as and when it’s needed.

The flagship development boasts hotel-style facilities including a licensed bar and restaurant where homeowners can socialise with friends old and new; a hair salon and beauty treatment room; a stunning conservatory-style lounge; and a well-stocked library.

A choice of one and two-bedroom apartments are available at Eastbank Court with prices from £192,000.

To discover how part exchange could enable you to downsize your home and upsize your lifestyle, visit Eastbank Court on February 1st.
