With the dust barely settling on its first auction of the year which generated £3.3 million in three days at The Oxford Belfry Hotel last week, DVLA Personalised Registrations has released its next 1,500 registrations to go under the hammer in Leeds in March.

The sale being held at the De Vere Village Leeds South hotel will be the first to incorporate the 13-series – released to signify vehicles registered from March 1, 2013 - and prime examples going under the gavel include AB13 OTT, BO13 BYS and RE13 ECA, each with £1,000 reserves.

Other name-related registrations certain to prove popular over the three days include GO12 DON,  FE12 GAL and KA12 ENS, again all with £1,000 reserves, while North East residents will undoubtedly be keen on DU12 HAM and HU11 CTY with reserves of £1000 and £900 respectively.

DVLA Personalised Registrations’ entire calendar of three-day auctions for 2013 has been revealed and comprises; the DeVere Village Hotel, Leeds, from March 20, the Morgan Motor Company from May 22, the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, from July 25, Mercedes Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey, from September 26 and the Park Royal Hotel in Warrington, Cheshire, from November 27.

Jody Davies, DVLA Personalised Registrations’ Events Manager, said: “It’s incredible, we’ve hardly had chance to rest on our laurels of our first auction of 2013 and we’re frantically planning our next sale.

“Last week’s event proved to be yet another success for the Agency, however with the feast of name-related registrations included among the usual array of personalised registrations we auction, I am confident we will be able to improve on that achievement.”
