Proton Cars UK’s 2006 sales continue to grow

9th December 2006 Print
If the success of 2006 so far is anything to go by, the year ahead is looking promising for Proton, with their new car sales up just over 58% so far on 2005, despite a general decline in the market this year.

Proton cars sales in November 2006 were almost double those sold in the same month in 2005, continuing the company’s growth throughout the year. The increase comes as new car registrations across the industry have fallen by 2% on last year’s November figures.

Simon Park, General Manager of Sales and Marketing commented: “2006 has indeed been a fantastic year for Proton Cars UK as we have continually beaten last year’s sales by some margin, and November has been no exception. With a growing dealer network and the launch of our new 3 door supermini, the Satria, early next year we are looking forward to a prosperous 2007.”

Figures are taken from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Trader’s statistics.
