Proton is a top scorer with UK dealers

23rd September 2008 Print
The Proton franchise is proving more and more popular with its dealers, with the National Franchised Dealer Association Survey putting the brand in the top 3 for many categories.

The 38th bi-annual attitude survey released earlier this month has reinstated Proton’s claims that, when it comes to relationships with its dealers, it’s difficult to find a more supportive manufacturer.

Not only did dealers score the Proton franchise highly for its new car negotiating process (joint 1st with Jaguar) and target arbitration process, Proton scored very highly when it came to dealers’ satisfaction with aftersales support, coming top of the survey in settling warranty claims and technical support. Service and Warranty Manager, Chris Mandall-Hall, was delighted with the results of the survey “This is further evidence of the exceptional aftersales support we provide to our dealer network and it is great news that Proton dealers value the franchise.”

Proton scored very highly, coming either second or third, on questions relating to dealers’ satisfaction with their partnership with the manufacturer, the helpfulness of both in-house and field staff and the fairness of manufacturer controls on their business. Dealers also put Proton ahead of every other manufacturer when asked how satisfied they were with the manufacturer’s standards compared with ROI.

Simon Park, General Manager of Sales & Marketing said: “We are pleased to see continued good results in all aspects of dealer relations.”
