Bloor Homes is offering homebuyers in Rugby four ways to secure a new home at The Briars in Long Lawford. Whether you are looking for your very first property or a spacious family home that will grow with your needs, The Briars offers something for everyone.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director of Bloor Homes comments: “We are always looking for viable ways to help people move home, so we are delighted to be offering not just one but four ways of helping buyers secure the home they want.”

For first time buyers, the FirstBuy initiative has been very popular at the development, allowing many to secure a brand new home. The Government backed Firstbuy scheme, provides an equity loan of up to 20% of the property price meaning the purchaser only needs to arrange a mortgage for the remainder of the purchase price plus a 5% deposit. To qualify, the household income must be less than £60,000 a year and the applicant must be unable to finance a property in the area where they currently live or work.

Whilst for those who already have a property to sell the 100% Part Exchange incentive available on some of the properties has been very beneficial. You do not have to worry about selling your current home and the whole purchase process can be completed in a matter of weeks. All estate agent fees and valuations are taken care of!

The NewBuy initiative is also available at the development which means buyers can secure one of the stunning new homes with just a 5% deposit! Under the new programme, 95% percent mortgages will be made available to existing homeowners as well as first-time buyers on new-build properties worth up to £500,000.

Alternatively, Bloor Homes can offer a helping hand with the extra costs that add up such as fully fitted flooring and stamp duty.

Long Lawford village is one of four Lawfords in the vicinity and was named Long because historically the village ran along the road between Rugby and Coventry. The village itself is surrounded by green open spaces and is located just a short distance from Rugby famous not only for the game of rugby but for its excellent schools.

The village offers easy access to the M6, M1 and M69 offering a network of road links, as well as the main A5 Watling Street making it central for commuting. There is a regular bus service providing an easy link to the shopping facilities in either Rugby or Coventry, whilst the main line station at Rugby can get you to London Euston within 50 minutes.

Prices at The Briars range from £163,500 for a three bedroom home. For further sales information, visit bloorhomes.com.
