Nationwide Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day

Free Cone Day

On Tuesday 9th April, Ben & Jerry’s will celebrate all things ice cream by hosting its annual Free Cone Day across the UK (3-9pm in Leicester Square cinemas, 6-9pm everywhere else).

Our beloved founders Ben and Jerry had their first Free Cone Day in 1979, where they gave free scoops to their local community to say thank you for their support in a time when they didn’t think their business would succeed. Ben & Jerry’s have done it every year since!

Ben & Jerry’s will be throwing open the doors of selected scoops shops to all, inviting flavour fans to have a scoop, whether it’s one of their delicious new offerings or one of their old favourites. While you can only have 1 scoop at a time, if you enjoyed your first helping, you can re-join the queue as many times as you like for another.

Ben & Jerry’s 35th Free Cone Day will also be about the Supporting Better Dairy Campaign as well as giving back to their loyal flavour fans! Ben & Jerry’s will be sharing the love with 23 million dairy cows across Europe and thanking them for their dairy-licious work by asking all ice cream lovers to sign their Supporting Better Dairy petition. So if you enjoy your free scoop, help Ben & Jerry’s to collect signatures and create a serious EU moo-vement!
