‘Early bird’ buyers help Redrow build on sales success

With 11 sales in two months new Redrow homes in Alcester are proving popular.

There are even buyers waiting on the sidelines for their preferred property at The Pastures to be released for sale.

Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), explains: “Buyers have shown a keen interest in The Pastures since we first announced we were building here and now that we have show homes open they’re eager to look around and experience all that we have to offer. The development has been a great success and we have secured 11 sales.

“We have also taken four ‘early bird’ reservations from customers who are simply waiting for their dream home to be put on the market so that they can commit to buy. By making an early bird reservation they will be given the first refusal on that property when it’s released for sale. It means they can take advantage of buying ‘off plan’ and secure the home of their choice in the position they want.”

The Pastures offers a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes from Redrow’s sought-after New Heritage Collection.

Current prices start from £234,995 for a three-bedroom Letchworth style property.

The good news for those who want to purchase a brand new home is that Help to Buy is now available helping to make a move to the Pastures easier to afford.

The Government-backed scheme reduces the cost of buying a brand new home with the help of an equity loan for up to 20% of the purchase price. It means customers should only need a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, so savings of £11,750 and a mortgage of £176,246 could be enough to secure the three-bedroom Letchworth. The equity loan covers the remaining share. Crucially the loan is interest free for five years. It can be repaid when the customer has more funds available or when they resell.

Traditional on the outside, bright and modern inside, homes at The Pastures combine the best of old and new. Behind their Arts & Crafts exteriors hide high specification interiors. Stylish, yet practical kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage; while family bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings, with an exclusive tile range.

To discover what is making The Pastures so popular with buyers and to find out about Help to Buy, visit the sales office and show homes in Kinwarton Farm Road, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
