Vauxhall’s Astra G platform is a superb basis for enhancement – and no one is more aware of this than suspension legends Eibach. The German manufacturer’s range of chassis upgrades for the car is impressively extensive and covers springs, alignment and wheel spacer options.

The much-vaunted Pro-Kit upgrade is a great way to begin your chassis tweaking. Lowering the car 30mm front and rear using Eibach’s innovative progressive winding technology, Pro-Kit offers the perfect blend of stance and handling. The complete four-spring package is priced at £125.83 +VAT.

For those wanting a more aggressive stance, the scene-friendly effect of the Sportline package offers a 45mm front and 30mm rear drop, really lowering the car for a full visual effect. Once again, clever winding with progressive coils mean that ride quality remains superb. Both springs feature pre-stressing, shot-peening and electrostatic powder coating for a long and effective life.

Alignment components are also available to allow tuners to move the suspension components outside of their factory parameters to achieve truly stunning results. The front camber bolts simply replace the OE equivalents, but allow an impressive ±1.75° of camber and cost just £16.16 +VAT. The rear camber shims offer both -1.50° to +1.50° of camber and -1.50° to +1.50° of toe, making them a performance essential – particularly for cars venturing out onto track. These are £7.26 +VAT per side.

The spacers are the final finishing touch. Precision machined, hub-centric and available in widths from 5mm to 25mm per side, these aerospace quality components start from just £33.33 +VAT. Offering a track increase for improved turn in and stance, they also allow the fitment of aftermarket wheels with differing offsets.

All work brilliantly in isolation, but together, they make any Astra G a formidable package!
