Bennetts expands offering with ‘classic bike' insurance online

Bennetts, the UK Bike Insurance Specialist, has this week extended its insurance offering to now include cover for classic motorcycles online. Bennetts previously quoted models dating back 50 years but now, for the first time, motorcycles from 1900 onwards can be quoted online.  Around 10 per cent of UK bikes on the road today are classics and many classic bike owners also have a modern bike as well, which can be covered under one Bennetts multi-bike policy.
 
This latest initiative is part of a wider customer growth drive for the Bennetts brand. The new classic cover will only be available directly from Bennetts.co.uk or from the Bennetts specialist contact centre. This change will not only ensure that a wider spectrum of customers receive a competitive quote, it will also drive multi-bike quotes, as customers will be able to insure their everyday bike and their classic bike at the same time, with just one insurance provider.
