New resort brand, Atmosphere, will launch the first of its Indian Ocean properties, Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, in the popular tropical archipelago this November.

Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives is the brand's first venture and will be the newest resort on Kanifushi Island, located in the remarkable and remote Lhaviyani Atoll. Officially opening its doors to visitors on 1 November 2013, the five-star resort offers 2km of uninterrupted, pristine, white sandy beaches, an expansive turquoise lagoon, lush green vegetation and a natural coral reef.

With 150 elegantly designed 'Sunset View' detached villas nestled among coconut groves and tropical vegetation, boasting maximum privacy and offering direct access to the pristine coastline, Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives promises to deliver exclusivity and extravagance.

Guests can choose from four categories of villas each with open-air bathrooms, private outdoor areas, internet access and a range of hi-tech amenities. From the understated luxury of a Sunset Beach Villa to spacious Junior Suites with an additional lounge area, interconnecting Family Villas and Pool Villas with a large veranda and private 30m2 pool there is plenty of choice to suit couples, friends, families and honeymooners alike.

Leisure facilities include the soothing Akiri Spa for ultimate indulgence and the resort's PADI licensed Dive Centre that gives both novices and experts the chance to discover the island's underwater treasures, while international dining options such as specialty Asian Fusion Cuisine are guaranteed to satisfy even the most refined taste buds.

The exotic Lhaviyani Atoll is just a 30 minute flight by Seaplane from Malé International Airport, allowing guests to arrive in style and absorb the spectacular scenery encompassing the island on the journey.
