Be one of the first with the new registration at MOTORP07NT

It’s already that time of year again, with the new 07 vehicle registration being unveiled this Thursday, on 01 March, 2007. This makes it an ideal time to grab a bargain at Motorpoint, the car supermarket with one of the largest choices of cars and commercial vehicles in the UK.

Motorpoint currently has five locations across the UK in Burnley, Derby, Glasgow, Newport (South Wales), and more recently in Peterborough, meaning that from the large range of competitively-priced vehicles, there is something for everyone, whether it is a city run around or a luxury saloon.

With the change in registration, this is one of the busiest times of year in the UK for motor retailers, and at Motorpoint it is no different. On 01 March this year alone, customers will collect over £4 million worth of vehicles across the five sites. This is in addition to the impressive 5,200 vehicles that the retailer has already sold since the beginning of the year, in what is generally considered to be a quieter period in the run-up to the new registration.

Medium-sized family models such as the Ford Focus, Vauxhall Astra, and Ford Mondeo models are so far proving to be amongst the most popular buys, with a high uptake for diesel, signalling a shift to more economic motoring. Furthermore, with the introduction of legislation which will see a £60 fine and 3 points on the driver’s licence for the use of mobile phones whilst driving, demand for hands free kits to be fitted to vehicles purchased at Motorpoint has also increased significantly.

Motorpoint is open 7 days a week between the hours of 08:45 and 20:00 (Monday to Friday), 08:45 – 18:00 (Saturday), and 10:30 – 16:30 (Sunday). No prior appointment is required.
